One of the most commonly used slang words is “cool”, which is a word that means something is good. If you see a good movie, you can tell your friends it was “cool” or if you want to compliment a friend, you can call her a “cool person. However, if someone asks “How are you?and you say, “I’m coolthis doesn’t just mean “you’re good. It means that you are feeling content, calm, or relaxed. When you think of this word, think of the pleasantly cool feeling of touching ice on a hot day. 一般最常說的俚語單字「cool」,這個字表示讚美某物。如果你看了一部好電影,你可以告訴你的朋友電影很「cool」或是如果你想要讚美一位朋友,你可以這樣稱呼她是一位「cool person」。然而,如果某人問道:「How are you?」你的回答:「I'm cool」並不只意思「I'm good」而已。這個意思是說你感到滿足、平靜或者是放鬆。當你想到這個字就想到在炎熱的一天接觸冰淇淋的愉快極好的感覺。

“Chillcan be used as a synonym for cool, but you can also use this as a verb: “Chilling. We spoken aloud, the “g” is often dropped, so it sounds like “chillin. This word means to spend time doing nothing in particular yet still having fun, as in “I spent Friday night chilling with my friends. Much like “cool, the word connotes feelings of contentment and relaxation. Chill」可以被視為cool這個字的同義字,但是你也可以把它視為是動詞「Chilling」我們大聲發這個音時,「g」通常不發音,所以聽起來像「chillin」。這個字的意思是花了時間並沒做任何事情但是仍玩得很開心,說法「I spent Friday night chilling with my friends.」意思與「cool」這個字非常相似,意味著感覺滿足及放鬆。

One common English slang phrase is “feel meor “feel youwhich means to understand on a deep level. After having told a person about something that you feeling passionately about, you can ask “Do you feel me? It’s like asking, “Do you understand what I’m telling you?only the meaning is more personal. The polite response is “Yeah, I feel you. 經常使用到的英文俚語「feel me」或「feel you」,意思是指有很深的了解程度。熱情地告訴某人你對於某事的感受,你可以這樣問:「Do you feel me?」它的意思「Do you understand what I’m telling you?」涉及個人問題。你可以禮貌的回答:「Yeah, I feel you.

If a friend of yours comes up to you and tells you something bad that just happened to them, you can sympathize with them by saying, “That’s messed up.? This phrase means that a situation or set of circumstances seems unfair or unjust. Then, after sympathizing with your friend, you can ask, “How are you holding up?which means that you want to know how they’re coping with this “messed upsituation. 如果你的一位朋友來找你並且告訴你剛剛他們發生了不好的事,你可以賦予同情的這樣說:「That's messed up.」這個片語的意思是一個或一連串不公平或不正義的事發生。深表同情後,你可以這樣問你的朋友:「How are you holding up?」這個意思是你想要知道他們現在怎麼處理這「messed up」的情況。

Finally, when you’re saying hello and goodbye friends or acquaintances, there are a few different ways things you can do. For instance, Spanish words “Holafor hello and “Adiosfor goodbye are popular in the US. You can also say, when greeting a person informally, and then ask, “What’s up?to ask how they are doing. And when saying goodbye, you can say, “I’ll catch you laterto mean that you’ll see them some time soon. 最後,當你要對你的朋友或熟人說你好和再見時,有幾種不同的表示方法。例如:西班牙文表示說法 Hola」你好及「Adios」再見。在美國經常使用的說法 Yo」非正式向人打招呼及「What's up?」你好嗎?。當要說再見時,你可以這樣表示「 I'll catch you later」來說明你將會很快的再見到他。
