I left my umbrella on the bus.(我把雨傘忘在公車上了。)
I forgot my umbrella on the bus.
Oh damn! I left my umbrella on the MRT/Metro again.(糟了,我又把雨傘忘在捷運上了。)
以字塊的角度來分,可以分成「名詞片語」+「動詞片語」;
以句型的角度切入,分成「一個主詞」+「一個動詞」;
a. I ate the cornflakes in the milk.
b. I ate the cornflakes in the morning.
你有把the lady who is speaking 一口氣說過去嗎?不然斷成兩句the lady + who is speaking 也可以。
The lady who is speaking is my boss.

Debug

Debug

1. I got my master’s degree in the States

2. His new book is sold well.

3. Let's team a group.

4. I met my boyfriend at Taipei Main Station.

5. May I try this shirt?

6. I don't usually talk to girls first.

Debug Answer

1. I received my master’s degree in the States.

2. His new book is selling well.

His new book is sold well是正確的句子,但卻不合乎英文語法。

Lets team up with someone. team up 就是組團隊、合作的意思,後面用with加上合作的對象。Justin Timberlake teamed up with a famous producer, Jay-Z, for his album.

4. I ran into my boyfriend at Taipei Main Station. run into是偶然碰到,遇到某人的意思,也可以說 I bumped into my boyfriend at Taipei Main Station. I met my boyfriend at Taipei main station.

5. May I try this one on? try on才有試穿的意思,試穿鞋子也可以用try onMay I try the shoes on?

6. I don't usually hit on girls.

I don't usually talk to girls first好像在說自己很高傲,不會先跟女生說話,並非「搭訕/溝」的意思。 He is a big flirt.(這個人很會調情)。

"Medicine;
to cure sometimes,
to relieve often,
to comfort always."

HKU MBBS Secrets Unveiled -

Individual = 2位 Professor 對你一人,比較 chur。

Group =  2位 Professor 對 ~10人,英文+廣東話 Group discussion(共兩條題目,~15分鐘 each)

Non-Jupas 較看重 Interview,亦會是 Individual ;

Group interview 評分有3級: Excellent, Good, Average。

Medic

Pass with distinction, Pass, Fail
